How hard is it to admit that you were lying all along? Hard, of course, especially to a child. You will wish you have not started it in the first place. This is my present predicament.

My son came home from school yesterday. He was so upset. His classmates in first grade told him that tooth fairies are not real, and it was his parents who are putting money under his pillow and giving him gifts during Christmas. My son, of course, argued that tooth fairies are real. He even told his classmates that his dad was able to take a picture of the tooth fairy. The story behind that picture was:
Gab had his 2 front teeth extracted that day. He was anxious that the tooth fairy is not going to take his teeth. He was willing to wait for the tooth fairy and talk to her about it. Mom and dad assured him that the tooth fairy will come tonight for his teeth. Gab was excited to go to sleep with high hopes that the tooth fairy will come. He wanted to see proof that she came. Dad came up with brilliant idea! He put a light pen under Gab's pillow and took a picture.
Gab was so convinced about the picture. He was so pumped up the next day bragging the picture to his friends. Now, that was the biggest blunder we made to our 7-year old son.
